Why couldn't Dodge figure this out a long time ago?! That area is really a waste of space. Perfect for the 1 liter bottle waters I use when I work out. Also convenient for my remote and snacks. Only problem is when it comes to opening and closing the center console. I need to literally sit on it to lock it while holding the release button and to open it I need to contantly push the release button and wiggle the lid. That is the only "defect" that I found but other than that it is wonderful. Now to only customize the old cup holder as a slide out pen and pad holder or something like that...hehehe. {Proud '96 Ram 1500 Owner!}
