Let's start with the basics. The item is 4" tall x 4" wide(this was not on the description and made me wonder why). The emblem is made out of plastic, but has a chrome front finish. The border is clear and lights up steady. it is an outline to the emblem, but looks really cool. I am going to install it on my front lower grill and going to install a red one on the back of the car. I would recommend installing this item on a dark background so it pops out even more, like on the hood of a black car or a black grill. The item comes with 3M adhesive so it sticks very well(make sure to clean the surface before installing). The item doesn't bring a manual on how to install it, but it has only 2 wires (positive and negative), this shouldn't be a problem. It is not rocket science. You can install this easy with an inline switch, but if you have some electrical knowledge, I would recommend to install it to your head lights or tail lights so it lights up when you turn on your lights or even your stop light for the back in red (it will light up every time you apply your breaks. Whit all this said, I am very happy with the emblem, and for the price you really can't beat it. The only reason I din't give it a 5 star is because the eyes would look better if they would have trim a clear light in the eyes so they could glow a little better. But it still looks awesome, that's just my opinion.
