I was looking for a remote starter for my 2009 Nissan Murano that would work with my OEM keyfob. In my vehicle, I was able to use JUST this device. I didnt need any other device to get my Nissan Murano to remote start with 3x lock commands from the OEM keyfob.

All these devices are confusing and you would never know that you could use this device as a remote starter. The interesting thing about this device is that it communicates with the vehicle and learns your remote/key (WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE AN EXTRA KEY).

While I only used this one device in the vehicle (about 10 wires total), I also got the fortin "FLASH-LINK" USB device that updates the firmware on this EVO-ALL and allows you to set the "remote start" option for this box, so you basically need both devices unless you can find a Fortin dealer that will update the EVO-ALL box and set the option for you.

Also, if you read the instructions for the Nissan it mentions a "Lock" and "Unlock" wire to the car's BCM in empty slots, I found that you DO NOT need to do this step AND the 3x lock command still works.
